Office Administrator

We are looking for a friendly, organised individual to join our office team. You will work alongside a team of plumbing and heating engineers and be supported by our office manager, other administrators and the directors of the business in the office.

You will be the face of the company, answering calls to new and existing customers, responding to emails, checking progress of work and asking for feedback at the end of jobs from customers as well as supporting the directors to run the business smoothly.

You will need to be confident in speaking on the phone with customers in a friendly and professional manner. You must be confident in dealing with urgent situations and prioritising customers and jobs. You will need to be organised and able to work under a little pressure.

Your role will be to help manage the team of plumbing and heating engineers, organising and managing the diary and appointments, following up on leads. Looking at work flow, ensuring engineers have what they need and the routes of their days are planned accurately and efficiently.

Computer knowledge and experience is crucial in the role as you will be working with a computer system to book appointments, manage the engineers diaries, create quotations and use our company systems. There is opportunity for more responsibility and growth within the company as we expand.

Daily administrative tasks:

• Monitor emails/ act upon any leads/emergencies, respond throughout the day and answering calls
• Diary Management
• Support the engineers throughout the day with any tasks they need
• Ensure engineers have arrived on time/contact customers if engineers are running late
• Chase quotations that were sent out and answer any questions/queries
• Direct customers contact, booking in appointments and asking for feedback on jobs, monitoring the progress of larger jobs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £12.50 per hour

General Plumber

JR Plumbing and Heating Solutions LTD are a thriving plumbing and heating company who are seeking multiple engineers who take pride in their work to come and join our expanding team.

We are seeking someone who is able to take an active role in driving the business forward and who can demonstrate positive customer service skills and excellent communication skills.

We have a team of office staff who are continuously working alongside engineers, booking in work and supporting the engineers in ordering materials.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8am until 5.30pm with occasional overtime available.

The successful candidate will receive:

• Company vehicle with a fuel card
• Bonus scheme with the option to receive a bonus for upsells.
• Work mobile phone as all work will be distributed via an app, here you will have access to your schedule and be able to report notes and pictures of any findings.to view daily tasks
• Further training / Certifications courses available

Heating Engineer

JR Plumbing and Heating Solutions LTD are a thriving plumbing and heating company who are seeking multiple engineers who take pride in their work to come and join our expanding team.

The candidate would be required to complete oil, gas and LPG breakdowns, services and maintenance work. We are seeking someone that is confident to work on their own and the candidate should be able to transition a job from a breakdown to a quotation with confidence. We are seeking someone who is able to take an active role in driving the business forward and who can demonstrate positive customer service skills and excellent communication skills.

We have a team of office staff who are continuously working alongside engineers, booking in work and supporting the engineers in ordering materials.

Ideally they will hold all of the following qualifications, but a minimum of at least 1:

• Gas Safe (with or without LPG)
• Oftec

Some self employed experience is also desirable.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8am until 5.30pm with occasional overtime available.
