We are looking for a friendly, organised individual to join our office team. You will be the face of the company, liaising with customers, responding to enquiries, answering calls to new and existing customers, resolving issues if they arise. Checking progress of work ensuring customers work runs smoothly and they are given the best customer experience. You will see work through from the initial call to the end of the job, collecting feedback at the end of jobs from customers as well as supporting the directors to run the business smoothly.
You will work alongside a team of plumbing and heating engineers and be supported by our office administrators and the directors of the business in the office.
You will need to be confident in speaking on the phone with customers in a friendly and professional manner. You must be confident in dealing with urgent situations and prioritising customers and jobs. You will need to be organised and able to work under a little pressure. A customer service / sales background would be preferable however training will be given
Your role will also be to help manage the team of plumbing and heating engineers, organising and managing the diary and appointments, following up on leads. Looking at work flow, ensuring engineers have what they need and the routes of their days are planned accurately and efficiently.
Computer knowledge and experience is crucial in the role as you will be working with a computer system to book appointments, manage the engineers diaries, create quotations and use our company systems. There is opportunity for more responsibility and growth within the company as we expand.

Gas Safe Registered Boiler Breakdown + Servicing Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and professional Gas Safe Registered Boiler Breakdown + Servicing Engineer to join our established and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
- Key Responsibilities:
Attend domestic gas boiler breakdowns and carry out accurate fault diagnosis and repairs
Carryout services, maintenance and repairs on gas boilers.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards
Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed work
Participate in ongoing training and development as required
- Requirements:
Gas Safe Registered (essential)
At least 2 years experience
Proven experience in boiler breakdowns, diagnostics, and repairs
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Strong communication and customer service abilities
LPG qualification desirable (training can be provided if not currently held)
Full UK driving licence

The candidate would be required to complete oil, gas and LPG breakdowns, services and maintenance work. We are seeking someone that is confident to work on their own and the candidate should be able to transition a job from a breakdown to a quotation with confidence. We are seeking someone who is able to take an active role in driving the business forward and who can demonstrate positive customer service skills and excellent communication skills.
We have a team of office staff who are continuously working alongside engineers, booking in work and supporting the engineers in ordering materials.
Ideally they will hold all of the following qualifications, but a minimum of at least 1:
- Gas Safe (with or without LPG)
- Oftec
Some self employed experience is also desirable.
