How to change batteries on a Hive

This guide will show you how to change the batteries in your Hive

If your Hive’s battery is low, a red battery icon will be displayed below the “Actual” temperature

Step 1

Press the tab on the bottom underside of the Hive and pull the Hive gently towards you and up.

Step 2

On the rear of the unit you will see a number of batteries (usually AA size). Simply replace these with new batteries.

Then, just place the unit back on the wall plate and click into position.

Reattach the Hive to the wall
